Ciara, originally from Newbridge, is a highly experienced QFA with over 10 years in financial services.

Before working in financial services, Ciara had worked freelance in production in film and television in both Ireland and the UK. It’s an area Ciara really enjoyed but after a while she knew she wanted a change.

Ciara’s father was the influence in her life to get into financial services, with him working in the industry for over 30 years. Her financial career began with going from door to door doing market research and through this she quickly found that she loved meeting with people and helping them find solutions – solutions they needed to protect them and their families while providing for their futures.

“Don’t ever be afraid to ask a question—there is no such thing as a silly question. Odds are other people in the room feel the same and will thank you for it.”

Ciara’s an avid sports woman and her heart and sporting association is with Athgarvan GAA on the Curragh, where she has played for over 20 years. She says her lifelong involvement in the GAA and LGFA as player, coach and active club member has instilled in her a strong sense of community. Over the years, particularly the last 10 since she has become a financial advisor, her sense of community has really highlighted the importance in building relationships and trust in those you work alongside, whether that’s in your team mates, the person training your child on a Saturday morning or your qualified financial advisor guiding you and preparing you for your financial future–knowing and being able to place your trust in these people is key.
