Gerard is in his fifth year as a Qualified Financial Advisor after a career of over 20 year as a Key Account Manager, covering the length and breadth of Ireland.

Gerard is happily married to Clara and together they have four wonderful children. Gerard gets great enjoyment from playing hurling for his local club Killeagh. He has also previously played for Youghal and Midleton CBS, Waterford RTC, Imokilly and also represented Cork teams at various levels. While there’s been plenty of sporting success along the way, Gerard has found the biggest result was also the people he met and friendships he made through sport. Gerard also appreciates how important it is to give back to the sporting community and spent years refereeing. He is now heavily involved in the admin side of the club as Vice-Chairman as well as spending time helping coach the U17/U18 teams.
